Miss Saigon project
Due to the multicultural nature of gastronomy, constant research and accumulated experience, M Butterfly is a trademark that universalizes veganism and brings together all nations, East and West, at the same table, transposing passion and harmony between Mankind into each food item. , Nature and Animals! The company Miss Saigon exists since May 2008, a project created by Cláudia Salú and Paulo Almeida. From 2009 until October 2022, Miss Saigon operated as a vegan restaurant in Parque das Nações. As of 2023, and after about 14 years of experience, Miss Saigon is now dedicated to the promotion of vegetarianism and veganism in the areas of tourism, food and environmental and ethical marketing services.
DISTINCTIONS
M Butterfly cuisine was distinguished by the “Lisboa à Prova” gastronomic contest, Time Out and Visão magazines, the “Lisboa à Mesa” guide, several international tour guides as one of the recommended restaurants to visit in Lisbon!
In 2015, the Daily Meal North American portal distinguished M Butterfly vegetarian cuisine as one of the top 25 vegetarian restaurants in the world. In 2016, American Express's “Essentials” website ranked M Butterfly as one of the best vegetarians in the world. In December 2015, M Butterfly kitchen was part of Nespresso Magazine's “city guide” about Lisbon Autumn2015 / Winter2016. The magazine is distributed in over 45 countries with a total of over 1 million copies. In 2019, the world's largest vegan portal “Happy Cow” elected M Butterfly cuisine as one of Lisbon's top 10 vegan restaurants. Also in 2019, travel and lifestyle portal "7Big Travel" considered M Butterfly´s vegan cuisine the 6th best in Europe.
