M Butterfly opened local accommodation for 2 people in Trás de Figueiró - Alvorge in spring 2024. Located in the municipality of Ansião, district of Leiria, just 40 minutes from Coimbra, this is a space surrounded by nature. Integrated in the lands of Sicó and forming part of one of the 9 nature tourism pedestrian routes (Rota da Ladeia - as well as the Fátima and Santiago paths), the M Butterfly guesthouse is a space of tranquility and retreat that invites relaxation and nature outdoor. With fabulous river beaches about 15 minutes away (in the municipalities of Penela and Ansião) and the historic record of ancient Rome, with the ruins of Conímbriga, being part of the Romanization route in this area, M Butterfly is in a place with the greatest anthropological value in the municipality of Ansião, with records from the Neolithic, Bronze Age, Roman times until the Christian reconquest.

M Butterfly's veggie guesthouse combines the vegetarian lifestyle for you, in a space of approximately 50 m2 with a bedroom (double bed or 2 single beds), living room with kitchenette (not allowing hot cooking - with mini-bar , electric kettle, coffee machine and some kitchen utensils, such as plates, cutlery and glasses), bathroom with shower tray and a closet for dressing and storage. Bed linen, cotton towels, ecological hand and shower gel (with Ecolabel certification) are provided, as well as all detergents and disinfectants used by M Butterfly are ecological, produced in Coimbra. You will always have a mixture of fresh herbs from the garden to make infusions, and at your check in you will have seasonal and local fruit, as well as the t biscuits made by Cláudia. Vegetarian/vegan breakfast is not included in the accommodation price, but you can order/book in advance. Outside there is various equipment to enjoy the outdoors, such as outdoor furniture and an outdoor shower. You can also harvest vegetables from the pesticide-free garden and take advantage of the various outdoor and region spots that we select, exclusively, to you.
